Film Dreams is my big sister Allie’s blog. She is an amazing photographer and someone who inspires me, not just creatively but with everything she does. Her blog is super cute but she had kind of let the regular post dwindle since her big trip down south last year. Earlier this year she decided she really wanted to get back into it and started a year long project. For 365 days she is going to post a Quoto a day. (A Quoto being a photo and a quote together) Such a super cute idea!!
These are a few of my favorites…

This has got to be one if the nicest business cards I have ever seen. I love the colours and the combination of the textures. Such a easy and effective way of giving people a little taste of your work.

Instant photos from my christmas up in Auckland. Lots of family and lots of laughs :)
Perfect weekend to start the summer :)
Miss Tyler Watkins 21st Birthday
My lovely friend Tyler is having her 21st this December. She has organised a weekend away in Martinborough. Tyler is going all out and its really important to her that everything is perfect so I was super excited that she wanted me to do all the design for it.
One of Tylers passions is Wine, which is why it is being held in Martinborough. So we decided to use vineyards and wine that as a theme.
The range of work included…
The invite (of course). With details and B+W photographs of Tyler. Each one was personalised with the peoples names and the details they specifically needed. I also designed a map for the back of the invite which located the two houses we are staying in and the restaurant the dinner is held at.
The itinerary. Which is designed as a little tag. This tells the guests what is happening on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On the back is a B+W photograph of a vineyard.
The Menu. This will be on the plates at the resturant when we all arrive. Basically letting people know what the choice of mains are, as well as the starter and dessert.
Table Cards. These are to go on the tables at the restaurant for the guests to locate their seats. The typographic styling of the names come for the menus and the invite its self.
mmm summer
Just a little part of something I have been working on tonight.
Beautiful view flying over Mount Ruapehu, on the way to Tauranga yesterday!
Wreck This Journal - Stand here, wipe your feet, jump up and down.
I sorted through my Frankie mags yesterday and put up some older posters (ones I didn’t like at the time, but now think are quite cute) and the one from the new issue. Didn’t realise I had so many! I find it funny that out of the 18 covers, only one has a coloured title. How odd.
Missing those summer days spent up at Matapouri Bay with the family.
Back in Feb I bought this desk..It did come a while back but and I took this photo a couple of weeks ago, but I have only remembered now to post it. Its such a lovely big desk to work at, Iain and I can even work on it at the same time :) If fits perfectly between my bed and the wall! So happy I decided to buy it!!
Went shopping the other day :)
I love labels, very black, white and grey though.
During my busy time at uni, I came across this wonderful blog…How About Orange. There are some awesome little craft projects on there and naturally I was dying try them out. I have finally finished my uni projects so this afternoon I spent a little bit of time making these cute felt coasters. Every time I have a cup of tea I have to put it on something, coz Im all paranoid about ruining my lovely new desk! They are suuuper easy to make!
Here are the instructions if you want to make some for yourself :)
This term at uni I have been working on a Marketing project, we all had to choose a brand and research and analyse it. I decided to do mine on The Collective Dairy. Anyways on their Pinterest they have recipes that include their products. So tonight, and the other night, I made this yummmy chocy cake. The icing is amazing, its just melted chocolate with a bit of yoghurt mixed in. Nom Nom Nom!
Oh, Recipe!!
